Sentiment across the crypto space is way down. Launching GlobalFarmersToken in this kind of environment could easily undercut all the work that’s gone into this. It’s not just about building something it’s about giving it the right conditions to thrive. I want to create routes, connections, and trails so that farmers, buyers, and distributors can make the best choices for themselves with transparency and trust.
There are also broader global pressures I can’t ignore. The recent tariffs and ongoing trade tensions with China raise serious concerns. It’s eerily quiet on that front and that kind of silence isn’t always peace. Sometimes it means something is shifting beneath the surface.
At the same time, the situation with Iran feels like a powder keg. One wrong move, and it could erupt into something much larger. Israel’s open talk of possible strikes, China refusing to negotiate tariffs, and new pathways for companies to sue over stolen technology it all adds to the tension. Ukraine remains locked in an active war, dragging on with no clear resolution in sight. And now, with increased military presence at the U.S. southern border and whispers of possible cartel actions, the global chessboard feels fully loaded and deeply unstable.
In a world shaped by overlapping, unpredictable variables, launching a token isn’t just a technical decision. It’s a matter of responsibility, timing, and protecting the integrity of what I’m building.
There can be a right moment to introduce a tool designed to help people. But that moment, in my view, isn’t today.
For now, I’m focused on refining the vision, developing the foundation, and staying watchful of the macro signals. When the dust begins to settle or the window opens I’ll be ready.
